Q & A

Why did you choose your profession?

The capital markets profession has some of the most talented, intelligent and dedicated individuals. I knew from the start of my career that I wanted to align myself and work alongside people with these traits.

Who is the one person who has done the most to shape you into who you are today? How was the person significant to you?

When I was at M&T, the President, to whom I reported, was a tremendously positive influence on my career.  She not only was a tremendous mentor in analyzing commercial real estate but also in management style. Through her, I learned the importance and benefit as a leader in delegating duties and empowering those who report to you, as a means to accomplishing executive level duties and also providing career development opportunities to others on the team.

What has been the greatest accomplishment of your life so far?

Is there anything you wish to do even better?

To come to a point of truly appreciating my many blessings and the people around me.

How would your peers and team members describe your responsiveness as a leader?

Responsiveness has been one of my key strengths over the arch of my career and a major contributor to not only my success in meeting loan quote/sizing, approval and closing expectations, but also general career advancement. I have consistently been praised for my level of responsiveness by peers (see LinkedIn Recommendations below). Furthermore, in a leadership role, I have always been responsive to questions and noted issues from those that report to me, in order to maintain team harmony, stability and business flow.
